Bits and Bites Recipe

Chips or Doritos?  Pretzels or nuts?  Rice crisps or Bugles?  The answer to all of these questions is Bits and Bites.  There is something in Bits and Bites for everyone.  I find that most store-bought snacks are just way too salty; this recipe has the salt and spice exactly right.  While it appears that this recipe will produce way more than you can imagine eating, you are wrong, it doesn’t make enough!  A jar of Bits and Bites lasts only a couple of days in my house.  You can substitute ingredients as much as you like, just keep the proportions the same: try wasabi peas, or peanuts, or dried cranberries.  And just in time for the Superbowl!
