Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Ingredients
- ¾ cup butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 ½ cups good quality chocolate chunks (note 1)
Instructions
- preheat oven to 350F
- beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy (photo 1)
- sift dry ingredients (photo 2)
- add egg and vanilla to butter mixture (photo 3)
- mix in flour to butter mixture (photo 4)
- add chocolate chips (photo 5 and 6)
- press into 10” cast iron skillet (photo 7 and 8)
- bake 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown (don't overcook; it's better underdone than overdone) (photo 9)
