Laura Marling Playlist
Lots of people have lovely voices. Many people write terrific songs. But don’t you sometimes wonder why some folks manage to “make it” and others don’t? Laura Marling sings beautifully; like a wispier Joni Mitchell. And she writes smart, melancholy, allusive lyrics to accompany those mournful and haunting melodies. This album has a time and place, so wait until you are feeling contemplative and really want to listen.
