Peder from Denmark
There is a fabulous, late night, CBC radio program in Canada called The Signal. I usually hear at least some of the show on my de-frag drive home from work. Host Laurie Brown plays some freaky ass shit. Some stuff is so weird I am compelled to listen, even if I don’t like it, and some stuff, like “Light Years” from Peder, is so great that I sit in my car, in the driveway, until the song is over waiting to hear who the artist is. I don’t know how she finds some of these musicians. Honestly, even my music-school-educated, downtown-alt-club-tripping, live-Euro-radio-streaming, hipster kids haven’t heard of most of these folks.
Once the volume is truly cranked, make some potato pancakes and read my rant about allergies…
